If you are unable to connect be sure to check the line connecting your computer to the network. Be certain that the line is firmly connected to the jack and to the computer. Verify that you are logged into Polaris if attempting to utilize Polaris resources. This can be done by clicking the right mouse button on the "Network Neighborhood" icon on the desktop and selecting "Who Am I." A box will appear listing all of the servers that you are attached to. If Polaris isn't listed, you are not connected to the network. If the problem is not resolved, call Audio Visual Services for help at extension. 632 |
