Instructors and students can reserve computer equipment for use in UMPI classrooms/meeting areas. Although many will choose to connect using a Computer on Wheels (a personal computer with a large monitor available through Audio/Visual services that is transferred around UMPI on a cart), others may wish to use a laptop computer. Most of Audio Visual Services portable computers are capable of utilizing network resources in classrooms and meeting areas. Use the AV equipment request form to reserve audio, video, and computer equipment. Make sure you specify "Internet-Access" as a requirement when you place your AV equipment request. Audio Visual Services can also be contacted by phone at extension 632.
