When does CS charge for its services?

Computer Services does not generally charge for services. Exceptions include charges for some types of computer lab use, projects funded by grants, the cost of materials for the repair of client computers after our annual repair budget is exhausted and some telephone wiring services. New computer equipment purchases are funded through department budgets, thereby allowing departments to retain control over their own equipment investment strategy.
